Tim Slater recently attended the International Conference on Environmental Remediation and Radioactive Waste Management (ICEM2023) in Stuttgart, Germany. Tim presented on the development of waste inventories to support the Environmental Safety Case at the LLWR. The conference brought together delegates from across the globe to discuss challenges in environmental remediation and radioactive waste management. Highlights included identifying common problems that nations face with their national disposal facilities, learning about new technological developments to aid decommissioning and, of course, the conference Oktoberfest dinner!
