Our team has undertaken work for a range of disposal facilities including the Geological Disposal Facility, the Low Level Waste Repository, landfill facilities for Very Low Level Waste, as well as overseas disposal facilities in Sweden and Finland.

We provide expert radiological assessment services for aqueous and gaseous radioactive discharges to the environment, including public, collective and biota dose evaluation and permit application support.

We provide expert support in developing biosphere models suitable for radiological risk assessments for humans and non-human biota. Our team has extensive experience of developing biosphere models for disposal of solid radioactive waste in landfills and deep geological facilities, for discharges of liquids to rivers and to the marine environment, and for gaseous discharges.

We provide technically informed programme management and technical secretariat services in the areas of radioactive waste management and disposal, radiological assessments and environmental radioactivity.  Our staff have a wealth of experience of supporting the IAEA, the European Commission and UK environmental regulators in these areas.

Eden NE provides high quality technical authorship and independent review across a broad range of specialist radioactive waste management and radiation protection issues. Our team has also provided independent review of nuclear safety, radiation protection and environmental impact assessments for the IAEA, Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority, European Commission and UK operators and regulators.
